wans is a new networking group predominantly aimed at women within the North East. Membership is also open to men who are committed to supporting and encouraging the advancement of women in the workplace.

The purpose of this group is to offer an accessible network that provides support and opportunities for women to develop and grow their business skills and/or their business by networking, training and mentoring, and through working collaboratively and sharing knowledge and experience.

By providing women with vital role models, support, advice and mentoring we hope to encourage women into self employment, or gain advancement in their current career.

At SWANS we realise that women take responsibility for 70% of all domestic responsibilities. Our networking, training and master classes are held at times which fit in with these requirements
